Shift warning buzzer.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but i had no luck with the search.
How do you disconnect the warning buzzer/shift buzzer? or can i just pull a fuse.

it's attached to the back side of the instrument cluster. don't really know how to disable it, or why u'd even want to. as long as u stay under 6500 u'll never hear it.

yah - think disconnecting it at the back of the cluster is the only way to do it. Easy pull cluster on my 80 SA, but not sure how complex on an 85....
definitely don't want to be trying to reach back there and pulling stuff while cluster is in place!!

I think I remember a thread about how to adjust it. Set it at your own desired RPM.

Yah, i'll have to look tonight.
The reason i ask is because if i'm taking it up i'll usually shift around 7.5 or 8K, and i plan on getting a shift light soon. So there wont be much use. Just an annoying buzzer. lol.

Yeah. I ,love that ****. Every time i race and when it comes up
I turn my head thinking i get honks from behind, which makes me just burn it on the next gear!
ps:
usually the feel is connected with heavy bouncing up and down on the seat while hugging corners
