What are these rectangular clips called? And where can I buy a set?

so far after three drives…. No more flooding! Installed a fuel pump kill switch under the shifter boot during the flooding experimentation, and in the process lost those little clips so the boot is sagging like a 20 year old pair of Y fronts. Thanks!

I'm not sure if Mazda or one of the on line retailers have them, but the big box hardware stores carry something very similar. Usually in the drawers in the hardware section.

Looks like basic rectangular speed nuts. Should be able to get at any hardware store, just measure the size of the post they go over.

As far as I'm aware they were only available with the shift boot and plate assembly. The tabs commonly break, leaving the shift boot loose.

Looking closer does look like every plastic post but one is snapped off. Parts of the plastic housing below are also broken. Whomever worked on this before me took the dash apart with a crowbar. Looks like new boot for me! (But gonna try shoe goo first).

The only thing that worked for me is 5200 sealant, but that stuff is expensive! I finally went with a leather one from Redline.

I JB Welded 1/4x20 small bolts where the post use to be and used nuts to secure to the boot. Worked great.
