Smile She just passed Smog!

Hey all!

Wow, I haven't been here in quite some time! My 84' GS has been on non-op status since 2009. Over the past year, we've been putting some love into her because I really miss driving her!

Got a one day moving pass for her on Wednesday and she passed smog! YES! So, today I go down and get the registration current so I can finally get her back on the road! How I've missed driving my car! After I give her a bath, I'll take some recent pics. She's 100% stock and pretty clean!

Just had to share my enthusiasm where I know it would be appreciated.

Feels great to be back!!!

Tammie

These cars can pass smog??? Wait, what's smog?

Congrats! The only thing more fun than working on RX-7's is driving them. Put the pedal down and clear out some carbon buildup.

Does anyone think it's worth it to put a stock engine setup in a 7 to pass smog and then put back your mod motor?

Depends on how long you have before your next smog, and how much fun you find swapping engines to be.

Very cool, in Northern California too

Very cool, in Northern California right where I used to live too where we have SMOG II which means they put the car on a dyno and go through the gears.

I'm always afraid they are going to legislate old cars out of existence.
