service manual or rebuilt book?

can anybody recommend a good service manual or rebuilt book for 13b 1st generation? this is my first attempt but I have several ford/chevy small block under my belt.

Anyway - welcome to the forum; the best rotary rebuild manual you can get isn't even a manual at all - it's the Adkins Rotary rebuild VIDEO! Get yourself out to Adkins Rotary (google search them), and buy the 13b vdieo that is used for experimental airplane builders that outlines everything in the assembly and disassembly of a rotary engine.

This is your best bet if you're serious about rebuilding your own 13b. Hope this helps, and once again, welcome to the forum,

I agree with LongDuck, but another excellent supplement to your arsenal is the Mazda Factory service manual(FSM)
This will cover not only rebuild, but will also be an invaluable source of information on troubleshooting, electrical systems, tolerances, flow rates, etc...
