DHLA = Dellorto Side Draft
DCOE = Weber Side Draft
IDA = Weber Down Draft

There are lots of them out there though. Most of them are the "same" but just a little different. Like I think the DCOE has choke, but the DCO doesnt? Something like that. I personally dont really know a lot, I just thought I would at least get you started with who makes what.

Ahhh so its manufacturer dependant too. I thought it was a class of carbs or at least some desciptive classing that all manufacturers designed to. THanks man i appreciate it.

Now i have another question. Did Weber ever make a 48 DCOE?

Yeah they did, 45, 48, 50 too I think. They make them in all kinds of sizes . Same with the DHLAs and IDAs. They make all carbs in all different sizes.
