lower intake manifold

I pulled my motor out getting ready to rebuild it... but i can get the lower intake manifold off. I removed the 4 bolts and 2 nuts and it feels loose but still stuck. I took off the actuators but that didn't make any difference.... is it just stuck or am i missing something? Thanks for any advice

I don't know how many fasteners should be there, but as long as you have them all out you should be able to rip that bitch right off. My guess is gasket material is sticking to the surfaces.

Use a rubber mallet and try hitting the edges.

there are 6 bolts, 4 on each corner, 2 NEAR the middle towards the bottom (not exactly the middle, more off to the side of the middle). The 2 middle ones are hidden and very close enough to be confused with the top exhaust manifold nuts.

The TII lower manifold has an additional bolt right in the center I believe.

The lower manifold is heavy enough, especially the n/a, that it will want to fall off on its own once all the fasteners are removed.
