I think it's to sense when it's warm enough to pop the choke back in but I could be wrong.

Just looked it up and sure enough the sensor on the water pump is for the choke and the hot start assist. The sensor on the bottom of the radiator is for the emission control system. It sends a signal to the ECU when the radiator temperature is above 59 degrees.

Great job!
Four more wires I can yank out!
(Or 2 more temp sensors I can figure out something neat to do with. )

The sensor thats right next to water inlet neck affects the choke ... I know this for a fact, because i had to replace mine once, choke wouldnt stay out or go back in, i forget? But I rememebr the ****** was expensive

But thats what it was..

It does the same thing on a GSL-SE, right?
I know what its called, its a Coolant Temp Switch, the Relief Solenoid controls it or something... for the GSL-SE,
The One thats on the water pump is the Coolant Temp Sensor, they're expensive.

Anybody know how to check it, if its working
