I just bought a 85 gsl that has been sitting for three years and the engine is seized up what is the best way to unseized it if possable. The rest of the car is mint.

 

You should read the article on "decarbonizing a rotary". The second half of the article deals with unsiezing a siezed rotary engine, much as I had to do when I started working on Roxy - my 5-year sitting project car.

Yes, nice write-up. This locking up of my second RX-7 (81 GSL) happend to me in the winter of 83. At that time this had never happend to anyone in the DFW RX-7 club. I used MMO liberaly for about a week and got it unstuck. I did a write up of it back then and it was published in our quarterly rag.
