Ok every single wire that i could find is hooked up but my question is when you turn the A/C on is the middle thing on the compressor supposed to spin too??? It just sits there no matter what. If it is am I going to have to take it off to fix it and get it working? thanks

 

check to see if the blower motor is working

 

it blows air really good but it's just not cold.

 

oh maybe ur compressor needs a recharge

 

would that cause the thing in the middle not to spin?

 

The compressor will not engage with low system pressure. Had the same problem with my '82. I though my compressor was bad. The mechanic pulled the connector off of the Pressure Valve, right side of engine, on the line coming from the condenser, and, with a small piece of wire, jumpered it. Compressor run normally. Just had to recharge the system.
