btw these plugs are only less than 50 miles old and has been used for idleing for about 4-5 hours
might have some ATF or MMO on it when i decarbonate the engine

That's completely normal. I have an '85 GSL-SE and it's not uncommon for it to drop down to 500-600 RPM when I let off the gas at a high rev. The video should give you nothing of concern, it's normal. Mine does that, and I have absolutely no problem with my motor. That "shudder" when you let off the gas is normal. Any motor will do that when quickly dropping down in RPM. The "tapping" noise sounds like maybe the injectors. That's just the pulse of the fuel spitting.

Tho, I would change the plugs, they look like you're running rich. The inner ones anyways. The outer ones are normal looking after so many miles of useage. Just change the plugs, cap and rotor, and get some SeaFoam (AutoZone sells that stuff) and dump it in your gas tank.

Like I said, that video shows a normal 13B motor. I heard/saw nothing wrong.

is this the same motor from HERE?

saw your video and will need to think about a few things as i watch and listen over and over. i haven't worked awfully much with SEs. however, first and foremost, are you sure you don't have a vacuum leak somewhere?

I took another listen. I think I hear that "pop" noise you may be referring to. Could be a vacuum leak. Change spark plugs, cap, rotor, wires, and check your vacuum lines for any cracks or holes. The FAQ will have a link to a colored JPEG file of a 13B's vacuum line layout.

Do a full tune up, check/clean the BAC. check all of the vacuum hoses for leaks, clean your plugs, then take it out for a drive and run it through the rpm range through the 1st 3 gears. Have you done a compression test and is the engine that had the rust?

It looks like you've got a good idle, yes it's low but it's not loping or idling irradically. have you verified your timing? is your TPS properly adjusted?
