where is the emergency release for the gas filler door on an 85 gs? iv'e got to give a friend a ride to work and im low on gas. thanks for any help.

 

Since Ive got a stripped interior and array of broken items my fuel door pop doesn work so I have to open the hatch and reach in behind it and pull the release myself, its a little lever that you just pull towards you but be sure not to bend it. I'll see if I can snag a pic right quick.

 

open your trunk and sick your hand almost behind the speaker panel you will feel the filler tube. there should be a little tab you can pull and that releases the hach.

 

pull the interior plastic from that side.
