Seals
Here is a quote from jhbperformance.com "They have proven to last well over 10,000 hours in engines using our Cermet A coatings"...now i figured that out and its only 417 days...to me that doesnt sound very long for a seal to last if some people are pushing 250 000 original KMs(114 000 miles)...does this sound right ??? let me know with your opinions

416 & 2/3 days actually.
what you really need to understand in your statement is that nobody runs their car for 417 days straight. think logically for a minute. you probably drive your car at a max of 2 hours a day on a normal day. that will give your engine 5000 days of driveability, which is almost 14 years of driveability.
ok, im pretty sure that i would be plenty happy for driving my car 2 hours a day for 14 years. or you can drive yours for 417 days straight, whatever you wish i guess.
one last thing to add. that is a *PROVEN* 10,000 hours. your seals, depending on how well your engine is kept and driven etc...could easily last longer im sure.
just my .02, you are looking at it all wrong
