se low idle and sputtering

Ok my SE is acting a little bit better recently.

Would like to know some causes that would make my car have a lumpy 500rpm idle and when driving likes to bog all the time. It feels like a person who is just learning how to drive a manual.

I have already checked fuel pressure and volume. All is well there. I'm so confused.

Best to start with the simple stuff. Check to make sure your air filter is actually flowing air, plugs are gapped correctly, plug wires are all there and in the correct order. I know I've spent weeks chasing problems before, when it was something simple, and I felt really dumb when someone else had to point it out to me.

first off, i would check to make sure both injectors are clean and flowing properly. www.witchhunter.com cleans and flow tests them for under $20 per injector and they are back to you in about 5 days.

have you checked and adjuted your tps?

if you are getting adequate spark, the afm is good and the air filter is not clogged, the next thing i would check is the fuel filter. it may be partially clogged as well as the pickup filter in the tank itself. there is a third fuel filter on the inlet to the fuel pump. its a conical screen that will trap debris.

Ok so funny thing about that...

I took my injectors out and while pulling the clips off one of the injector bushings fell into the lim.

I have done this procedure before but apparently wasn't thinking.

I guess I'm going to have to take the rest of the manifold off.

Anyone know how to remove the oil injector lines without breaking them.

remove the lines from the omp and then carefully unthread the oil injector from the housing taking care not to break the line. you can also just remove the line from the injector before unthreading it. this would be the best way imo.

ok got my injectors back and still nothing.

my car doesn't even start at all again. i dont understand what is going on. and i still have this clicking solenoid going.

did a ghetto compression test and all the sides are even strong pulses so i dont really think that it is compression related.

Fuel Filter is fine.

Pump is a fairly new Walbro 255hp model. Its only been operating for about 3000 miles.

This sounds alot like what mine is doing? When ever I'm stopped it idles at about 500 and at about 2k with the choke, but when I drive spirited and get up to about 6k revs and decel I get backfire, did you by chance notice this at all? Not to say that you're se isnt different from my gs but they cant be too far off right?

just a shot in the dark, but have you tested to see if your air flow meter is working properly and that the connector is plugged into the afm snugly?

Yeah I tested the afm and everything checked out per haynes manual and yes it is plugged in.

After getting my fuel injectors back I reinstalled them. I haven't been able to start the car since before.

As far as the deceleration stuff when my car would run mine is just bogging all over the place. Its terrible. Also my car always backfires when decelerating so I can't really comment on that. I've been told it shoots flames haha.
