SE fuel pump pic request
i was wondering if someone wouldnt mind snapping a couple pics of their stock SE fuel pump and filter assembly as its mounted on the car and posting them here. if a pic of the wiring on the pump is available that would be much appreciated as well! i'm doing an SE conversion and want to make sure everyting is correctly installed.
Dave,
The fuel pump feed line will be facing towards the driver side frame rail and the metal feed line runs a long that frame then attaches with a piece of hose to the fuel pump.

that is the pump that is hanging down in the last pic. the only thing missing is about 2 more inches of it and the line coming off the other end and routing back to the area of the fuel rail. it has a bracket that wraps around the motor and the bracket has three or four rubber grommeted mounts that bolt to the protective tray/mount that bolts to the body just like any other FB via 4 points mixed b/t 10mm nuts and bolts.
hang on and i'll show you some of it...........

anyone have a pic of the fuel pump wires as they attatch to the pump. i have the pump for my SE project swap but the terminals are clipped in half with no wires.
Dav,
Just use the wiring for the 12A pump...or find the connctor in the rear bin and wire from there. The pump should have polarity marked on it. Just get polarity right..that is all you need.

If it were me I'd just solder wires to the part of the tab that is still there. Are you asking which one is positive and which one is ground? That I'm not sure of... I'm sure someone with an SE could take a look for you, I've never seen a SE pump up close... sorry I can be of more help.

after removing the old fuel filter and pump/lines, i managed to get the SE filter assembly bolted in correctly. i got the large hard line sitting in place but realized that i do not have the proper fastners to secure it to the car...the line has two rubber sleeves i'm thinking are for cushion during the mounting process...
