SE cats

Hi

going to install Racing Beat muffler and found bolt from mid pipe to cat sheared off. so mid pipe very loose and not connected to cat.

now considering replacing cat.

these original cats are so rusted - my guess is also clogged.

would these pics indicate these are most likely bad?

any link or preferred supplier for GSL-SE cat replacement? (saw one post / screenshot with multiple part numbers - seemed confusing)

it looks like there are 3 cats on these SE's - is this correct?

You get the Exhaust Manifold, Monolithic Cat#1, Monolithic Cat#2, then the Main Catalytic with air injection pipe. This is the stock system and they're built to be heavy. The entire contraption weighs about 45lbs and rarely are they rusted through unless you live in snow country. If you're needing to replace yours, depending on your state laws, a high-flow aftermarket cat can be plumbed in via welding. The studs on the Main Cat to tailpipe are threaded and can be replaced if one of yours is broken.
