SE 6 port (mazda rebuild) ---->GSL swap

OK gurus and awesome people. I have a new-from-mazda s3 13B ready for a swap into my trusty GSL.

This motor was rebuilt by a mazda dealer near selinsgrove PA some 11 years ago, and was never put into the car. The car it was destined for was in an accident and was a totaled out. The owner has held on to the motor alllll this time and finally allowed me to tow it away this afternoon. soaked her in ATF for a couple days and hand cranked it over. Compression on both rotor faces is near perfect, but the SE injection is used, and kinda shitty looking.

I need some advice on rebuilding the injection system, and swapping this bugger in my GSL. I have a full 84 SE donor with a harness and a decent engine to rob parts off of.

My donor also has 15x7 rota RB's, which Ill be swapping over too...

SO LIKE YEAH! How do I do this? Im a carb guy and have no effing idea im doing with injection. I am playing with this newish engine in the next few days to start it and all that but I wanted to know if theres any neat tricks I can do, emissions removal (even if it means aftermarket ECU) and getting more airflow into the stock restrictive looking SE intake.

THANKS A BUNCH, im excited.

Please lend me some knowledge!

If you really like carbs, then ditch the EFI and buy a Weber, Mukuni, or similar carb. A Racing Beat UIM will fit the factory LIM so you can use a carb. This is the route I'm going for my 1977 Rotary Pickup. I have a Mukini 44 and RB UIM. I've been told that the 44 is a little small for the 13B though.

I kinda want injection for this car. Im repainting it this spring and I want it to be a runner. My holleys run AWESOME when the car warms up and not in traffic, but I kinda want a fast commuter...

Passenger side should not be that hard, thats where the EM harness is. So pretty much plug and play, make sure you do not break anything. Driver side is a different story.
