Sagging Suspension

I have a 1985 RX 7 GS LSE - Mint - except the car sags on the drivers side about 1-1/2 inches. I changed the struts and springs a while back - may be they were not right. If anyone has had this problem please let me know what you did to fix it. Otherwise the car is mint. I am the original owner and know the car well. Thanks in advance.
Jim

The springs might be just settling in... How long have you had the new stuff on there?

Very common.

My car leans a bit too. Gets even worse when I sit in the car I measured the spring heights with the car resting on its tires, and they were the same side to side, which leads me to believe that the sag isn't a "sag" at all, the body was put together that way.

I am the original owner - since 1985. I do not believe the springs are setting in. They are about two years old now. Maybe I just need to replace the springs, struts and such????

I have aftermarket springs/struts and it does the same thing. You will find alot of people here with the same problem as yours so it's not just you.

To echo some of the other posts, this is common among all FB owners. I have the same issue with my '85.

From my measurements, the bodies are assembled crooked.

Also, beyond that: The battery, fuel tank, and all of the main controls (steering box/pedal box/master cylinders/etc) are on the left side of the car. Even the engine is biased to the left side a bit for RHD countries. The only thing on the right side of the car is the exhaust system, and even that is mostly muffler on the right, the converters are closer to centered in the car.

It's a 1st gen thing.
