yep..we decided to evac and head to the mainland.
only injuries i got were a few scratches and sore muscles from helping other ppl clear debris from their property. i couldn't get to the house for 3 days because all of the bridges were closed, so i figured i'd help other ppl with their stuff. and if they were feeling down, i'd just tell them at least they know their house is still standing
was only liability, so insurance won't cover the cars.(lost a toyota camry as well)
FEMA should cover them, but the process is long and tedious. i still havn't seen a penny of compensation yet.

that sucks big time. Are you going to use one of those race car diy wiring harnesses (since you said its not gonna be a street car) or try to find a donor FB harness? After all the **** you FL guys went through this year it makes me glad to be in Jersey, we get bad winters, but I like the cold and I like snow, so no biggie. I have a fair amount of **** laying around if you need any random parts pm me I might be able to help. good luck man
i made a recent trip to Butlers and found 5 1st gens(ganked a 3-row radiator from one)
i'll be making the harness myself, since using a stock harness would be kinda dumb(will have way too many extra wires)
all i need to wire are the fuel pump, ignition, starter, and electric fans. (then of course there are the gauges...but those are easy.)
but before i start on the "great circuiting" i need to do some body work. sanding++
