SA/FB turbos..

Did any 1st gens ever come in a turbo model at all in N. America?? I always thought they never have in North America, but a friend seems to say that he has a turbo on his 1st gen, and it came stock like that... i don't believe him though...

None ever came stock in north america. There was a turbo model with a 12a and fuel injection, but it never came here.

its possible that the turbo was added by some previous owner who then told him it was stock like that or something, but no american, or left hand drive fb was ever turbo from the factory.

Technically you can say NO FB WAS EVER MADE FACTORY WITH A TURBO IN ANY MARKET. Japanese market only made SA's there was never a JAP FB. So no US SA's were ever factory turbo charged
