S4 Intake Swap onto my SE

So, I've got the S4 UIM, Throttle Body, LIM and fuel rail (I won't need it). BUT, the condition the parts arrived in weren't exactly good. Here is a link to my photobucket account and you can find the pictures there. basically the pictures of things that are horribly dirty are the stuff I bought and the clean stuff is off of my car.

So, the little bit that connects the actuator to the rod that turns the sleeve seems to have snapped off. Here:Name: IMG_1211.jpg

Is that a hard piece to fix/replace? Can I use parts off my GSL SE to fill in for the parts im missing? But the UIM seems to be in decent shape apart from a lot of rust and what looks like salt? Is this a good buy and should I continue to pursue my goal with these parts? Or should I just send them back and keep looking? What if I were to use my existing LIM and then just swap out the UIM and Throttle Body? Thanks guys.

Anyone? Is this a good intake to work with or should I just forget about it? Is the link working?

Yeah, the intakes are super nasty. Should I just send it back saying "this isn't what I payed for" or should I try and work with it?

Ebay? That site is a bummer sometimes and they have an unnessary premium for rotary parts sometimes.

Try Sunshine Auto in Orangeburg. They always have at least 4 FCs in there yard.

If your real intent on keeping it you can take the plastic/rubber things off of it and soak it in a carb tank. But you'd have to do it one side at a time.

Boiling also works good on varnish.

I actually bought all the stuff in the pictures from a user on this forum here. In Orangeburg? Really?

Yeah, but bring a bicycle. That place is absolutly MASSIVE.

The 7s are close enough to the door, but the trucks go on for miles. (almost literally miles)

Just leave a keg or two for me :P

And a LIM for a 6 port engine. I have to TIG one to my 4 port LIM.
