S3 Temp and Radiator Cap

I have two questions.
1. Where should the needle read on the S3 water tempature gauge when it's at normal operating temp? I.E. - 180 Degree's Fahrenheit. Pictures would be nice.
2. What radiator cap do you run and why?

1. Mine sits less than halfway, closer to the cold side.
2. I run a factory cap

when these were new the temp should be almost halfway, the needle is just to the left of the symbol in the middle.

however now that these have gotten old, the needles position will change with how much fuel the fuel gauge reads.

stock cap is the chugota cap. order one, that's what it says on it.

Mine always ran a little past the 2nd dash on the sweep but the rule of thumb given to me was never let it get past 1/2 way, I also have an e-fan with a switch so if I'm sitting still for a while I just flip it on.

Exactly.
I know everything's right so I just don't worry about it.
