SC s3 dash buttons

I thought for sure I seen this somewhere a few years ago but I cant find it to save my life.
anyways, im wanting to clean the air control push buttons and radio ***** in a 84 gsl, because the plastic has like green mold/corrosion on them. its not on the dash surround just the light grey *****.
any ideas how to clean them with out hurting the plastic? I tried metal polish but that did nothing.

Oh that reminded me. You can use kerosene. Dab a little on a cloth and wipe the gunk off. I saw a video where the guy used it to take the the glue or whatever the gunk that's under the carpet in his car. In fact I'm pretty sure it was in Aaron cakes Cosmo build.

Sounds scary, rubbing Kerosene on interior parts...but why wouldn't it work?! Hope it works out for you!
