Browsed this thread yesterday and then imagine my surprise at seeing an FD in Pacific Rim (2017) at 52min mark as a flashback sequence to a car wreck on a snow-covered Japanese road:
May 13, 2025. TV show "Roadkill" produced by Motortrend.
I don't know the year, but the Mazda badge on the front, the shape of top of the door and the right side rear window, do match.
It's in the "Classic Cars" section of storage.
Go watch some Fall Guy episodes. There is generally an FB somewhere everytime.
Once or twice a bad guy would drive one in the first season.
never doubted this for a second, but i've been watching The Fall Guy and there are a bunch of them scattered about in many episodes so far.
however, i'm in season 2 right now and to my surprise, in episode 11 (Happy Trails), there is one somewhat prominently featured. it looks to be a red Series 2 car, and the villains tell Colt to take it for a spin. so he proceeds to go do some donuts and such (in the dirt) until they realize he really was not a crook and they stop him. was pretty cool except for the sound. i think they used a generic soundtrack while he was driving it.
In the 2008 Speed Racer movie, evil businessman is talking about a corrupt grand prix and he has a piece of the car. Then I notice IT'S AN SA22 TRANSMISSION!

This was on “Poetic Justice” which was released in 1993. You can see a white SA in the back and Tupac was in this scene. I actually met Tupac and shook his hand in 96’, the year he passed. I think it was mine 😅
