here is the lowest budget rotary conversion on the cheapest bug, a super beetle... yuk!! built on all used and junkyard parts, it went 12:80 in the quarter mile mutiple times with a stuck sideseal- j spec 91 motor with no intercooler!! oh, no oil cooler either.. this kid was 18 years (was at the time) with a 12 second car.. the car still runs but after his parents found out how fas it was they made him park the car until he made it safer...
oh the track was palmdale 3,500 feet altitude..

 

That's it! I'm tossing away my pig of a first gen and getting a lighter car!

this one is lighter than a seven too.. recently finished project... 72 datsun with a 12a streetport, blow through turbo.. light, fast, and fun!! handles like a slot car too(its got full suspension with 280 z brakes ) subaru rear end along with a turbo 2 trans....
