RX7 at Salvage Auction
RX7 at Salvage Auction
I was browsing through the salvage auction and spotted this FB. Somebody at the yard has a sense of humor...

**** that ****. The rocker isn't banged up. Get a door from the scrapper and have a compitent bodyman hit the rear quarter. Repaint and you're golden.
They total cars for the pettiest ****.

You should see some of the Miata's I've gotten.
The other thing to remember is that sometimes the salvage auctions deal with donations to charitable organizations. The only first gen I've gotten at auction was like that; it turns out to be a pretty big rustbucket, but hopefully once I finish painting it and putting new rubber on it it'll be a nice driver.

It's a salvage auction. You have to be a member to buy it. I'd check with some of your favorite yards and see if they have access to Copart auctions. Most of the yards I used on a regular basis would buy cars for me when I was a good customer before I got access on my own.
