rx7 help...

I have a "80 RX7" with rear drum brakes....I just change over to 85 GSL rear disc brakes and frt suspension and I need to know if I have to change the master cylinder and power booster too...Please let me know if any one know info on this...Thanks....

Not the booster but it is recommended that you change master cylinders.

brake proportioning valve from the LSD car. It is right off of the master cylinder, so if you get a new master cylender, get one with the proportioning valve.

its debatable if you do, but since itd be so cheap and easy to get, id say do it.

did you get new brake lines? cause 81-85 have a different thread pattern than 79-80.

Despite the contradictory views on necessity, there is, indeed, a difference between the two internal springs and possibly more. Coarse to fine thread adapters are also needed for the brake lines.

you dont need adapter.

RB and mazdatrix, i think, sale kits for 79-80 with 81-85 brakes. that or you can get 81-85 hard lines in the engine bay, 81-85 master cylinder and prop valve, and then get just the rear line from the body to axle custom.

no didnt changed brake lines at all,just modified rear rubber hose that connects from diff. to line on body of car by the fuel pump.....by the way do you know who selling a spare one....please let me know....thanks....
