My girlfriend has a automatic (with tiptronic) 2000 Prelude, The vtec makes for strange acceleration. Whoever I race keeps up until the vtec kicks in...then I get ahead a couple of feet. Then we're accelerating at the same pace again until vtec kicks in again. It's pretty weird.
Not to nitpick or anything, but Tiptronic is a Porsche brand, the name Honda gives thier "manumatic" is Sequntial Sport Shift, I believe.

I guess that was nitpicking, huh?

The driver is usally more important than the car, and pathetic drivers are abundant. I assume everyone knows my comparison is same driver.

Not to nitpick, but isn't "manumatic" the chrysler term? I know that's what another make calls theirs.

VW had a 'manumatic' in the Super Beetle way back when. Very primitive, but there it was.

That means VW owns two of the fancy terms for semi-nifty slushboxes.

like you said, semi-nifty slush boxes. The next best thing to a manual. ...Might be nice in traffic though...
