it RUNS!!!!!!!!! yeeaaaaaahh!!!!!!

Ok, here's the breakdown:

Summer '01 - Go to Cleveland to visit parents, while I'm there, check out an '80 SCCA ITA car that needs some work in Akron. Decide to buy it.
- Previous owner delivers vehicle to me in Flint, MI.

Fall '01 - Purchase lots of spare parts for race car including spare engine that ran well when pulled, nine transmissions, body parts, carbs, cluthces, brakes, rear end, etc. etc. etc...

Fall/Winter '01 - Take car up to an autocraft center to work on it (pay hourly for lifts and tools and such, makes it much easier) do the engine/tranny swap
- Put some 2-cycle oil in engine to break up any carbon and such.
- Pull gas tank so my friend (Raptor13x) can use it (his leaked in his '85 GS)
- Fiddle around with EVERYTHING (hoses, wires, blah blah blah..)
- Not getting any spark, get pissed off and send it out to get the rollcage re-worked.

January '02 - Get it up to Flint again after the cage is done, screw with the distributor and wiring a little, say "hey, what's this other connector that looks the exact same as the one I have the distributor plugged into?" Plug it into that one, pull a plug and have a friend watch for spark while I crank it, it sparks!!! wooo!!
- Go out on a limb and say "lets try to start it". Fill up a castrol oil bottle with gas, put a little filler thingey on the end that makes it conveniently fit right in the disconnected fuel line, hold it up a few feet, fill the line, crank engine over without plugs to unflood in case it needed it.
- Put plugs all back in and double check everything, looks good, start it up *whum* *whum* *whum* *whum* *whum* *blop* *blop* (turn key off, look at friend, smile)
- Turn key again, *wum* *whum* *blop* *blop* *vrrr* *vrrrr* *vrrrrrrrrr*
- Say HOLY CRAP!!!! Smile really big, see my little-B run out of the house (cause damn you can hear this sucker)
- *cough* *cough* *cough* where's all that smoke coming from? Oh yeah.. nevermind..
- ran it for a little while before I remembered there's no fan on it, so I promptly stop running it Runs good, now just need an electric fan and replace one oil line that seems messed up and I'm all good..

Now all we gotta do is put the drivers seat in, hook up the fuel cell, and it should be driveable

I go to school in Flint, MI, and work in Warren, MI (yeah it sucks), I'll be back in Euclid (or Northeast Ohio at least, prefer the east side of Cleveland) by Summer 2003 with my soon to be wife (getting married in October of this year)
