How did you manage to break the back portion of the electrical switch?
I presume that you are talking about where all of the wires are attached to the back of the electrical portion of the ignition switch?

If this is the case that electrical portion of the ignition switch now needs to be replaced.

So grab one from the junkyard and either solder or crimp the wires right?

On the back of the ignition there are the 2 wires that go into it and look like they're soldered on. Well I broke that too. My car still starts without it though. There is like a green and red wire and I dont know which goes on the front or the back.

Also what do those too?

THanks

that whole assy has 3-4 clips on the wire pigtail end, just replace the whole thing. if theres any chance you lost the slides or the springs there is no way to repair the one you have. what i assume happened was you pushed it on without lining up the slot with the metal tab that comes out of the lock cyl.

I replaced the part with 4 connectors that goes into the left side of the ignition assembly. But need to know what the 2 wires connected to the back of it go to/do
