CA Rubber taillight seals--are there after-market alternatives?

The rubber seals that go around the taillights and the center plastic panel on my 85 are in rough shape, and I'd like to replace them.

Mazdatrix says they're discontinued, Black Dragon doesn't have them either, and the ones I've seen at various PickNPulls are similarly in rough shape.

Since they're just extruded rubber....has anyone found an after-market equivalent that works to replace these seals?

its no longer available new, some people just use rubber weather striping and trim it to fit.

I took mine apart, removed the rusted metal reflectors. painted the housing with chrome paint. then used clear RTv to seal them. When I install them back on car they will be sealed with black RTV.

just an idea

i just did, usually the original poster is wrong, and they have it, but not this time

it IS just a simple piece of foam cut into the shape of the taillight opening, so it would be easy to make one

Mazda no longer sells these. In terms of seals, they still have door, window, rear hatch etc. Tail light and center filler seals are gone.

If you can make some that really fit well, I'd buy them.
