Round or Square headlights...

The previous owner had decided to go with the ugly square headlight mod on my car. I really would like to have my circle lights back. I also would like to know how to adjust the hieght on the lights. (How high they raise when you turn them on or put them up.) I check on my bro's 84 GSL and his pop up pretty high, I noticed mine are at least 2 inches lower. Maybe the guy adjusted them or something, I honestly have no clue.

Anyway, just asking for some tips on how to fix the height on the lamps and how to pull them out and put the circle lamp setup back in.

Oh, also...I need another circle headlight assembly. I've got the passenger side light, but not the driver's side. (Was out bid on it at the last second on ebay.)

Thanks for any help.

Post a pic of the lights the way they are now. If they did a nice job, somebody will probably do an even trade with you for them.

I'd also get rid of those ugly square lights.

Don't mind the rust, previous owner had a bra on the car and apparently never took it off.

I know it is ugly, I don't like it either, but that is how it came when I bought that car. So here I am now trying to get rid of them.

Yeah, I'd be willing to trade as long as your assemblies are in top condition as mine are. PM me if you are interested.

I can get a whole shot of the car after work today.

Round!!!

Round!!!

For the love of God Round!!!

The Square Headlights make the car look too dated.

The round headlights have a more timeless quality about them.

It also looks like the guy did a home brew conversio on the headlight bezzels.

I am confidant the you could find a doner car in the scrap heap that would gladly give up its bezzels to make the car look the way it is suposed to.

I've already called around here to see if anyone even had junk sevens. Here in IL they're extremely rare to find. I've been told that I can get the part, but they gotta call other parts of the country to find it and then ship it out to them and then I gotta pick it up. And I bet I'll be paying way to much for it as well.

Here are more shots of the WHOLE car for those who asked.

They work like normal lights. They go up and down with no problems.
