rough shifting

here we go more problems with my 85 12a. i was driving down the road and went to shift to third gear and all of a sudden my shifting got rough and a little bit harder to get into gear its like it dosent want to let me get into gear, but if im at a stop and hold the clutch it shifts smooth. does it take any kind of trans fluid? i really dont know much about these cars and im tryin to learn all i can. thanks

yea any transmission fluid should be good. id recommend going the highest grade possible to try and reduce wear on the old parts. recommend changing all the fluids on your car if you havent already, also for fun check your clutch fluid and bleed it (probably wont do much but cant hurt)

Could be the clutch Pressure plate?

Does it make a grinding noise when you go to shift like a captain crunch sound?
