Rough idle after warm start...???
I have a 1983 GSL that's having a bit of a problem.
Although its a bit hard to start, I can get it started and it runs fine cold with the choke on. Once it warms up, it still idles fairly smooth, with an occasional shudder, around 750rpm.
BUT, when I shut off the car and start it up again a bit later (15min - 1 hour), the car starts, but it's too warm for the choke to engage, and it just idles low and really rough, almost stalling.
What could cause this? I'm pulling out the spark plugs tomorrow and checking the distributor cap, but wouldn't those also cause problems the first time it's started?
Any ideas would be very helpful! Thanks!

oh, and forgot to mention that i can detect some surging when i'm just driving along as well. but again, it's ONLY after a warm start. if i start it cold and let it warm up, it runs fine.
