Question is this rotor ok to use (12a )

it has very fine scratches on it. i looked at the rotor housing and it looks fine. this is the number #2 rotor. the first one looks perfect. the scracthes are deeper than what 80 grit paper can produce. but nonetheless huge nor deep. take a look and tell me what you think.

Better pics would help, these are too fuzzy. From what I can see, the grooves look like machininig marks from the factory. If there was no damage or grooving to the housings or apex seals, this one should be good to reuse.

If you can take better pics, post pics of both rotors.

Looks good to me. Just make sure the Apex groove is in spec.

I'd use it. You might wish to sand the grooves down a little bit. That will reduce the amount of carbon build up they tend to collect. Don't get carried away with sanding as you don't want to change the weight of the rotor.

O.k. first of all did they come out of the same motor? and if so did it run good? take a good look at the comp. areas of the rotors, they are not matching they need to match or the compression rates will be different, before using look for a matching pair weight and comp.

so i went and looked at the two rotors comp area's and the first one in the pic looks so much different than all the rest.. its just at the bottom part. all the rest of the comp areas compare the same.so if i turned the left rotor one turn it would look the same as the right one. weird uh?
