thers actually alot of japanese vids out for 1st gens. i have one where they race a rx-3 vs 1972 skyline gt-r(KPGC10), fb vs r30, 2 fd vs 2 r34.(sorry no fc for u fc fans...)

result.... all the rx series spanked the skylines even if the skylines had 100+ hp compared to the rx

conclusion... power isnt everthing. skylines may be superior when it comes to straight roads but when it comes to circuit races, the rx, which has great balance of power and handling, RULES ALL.

the vid was hosted by the best race car driver in japan (aka drift king) Keiichi Tsuchiya.

Yeah I love finding pics of these rare body kits. Maybe some day when the US dollar gains value we can pic up some parts for cheap. I gotta get me one of those vented hoods someday!

In case anyone wonders, the 57 and 58-year references refer to the Japanese calendar, which is linked to the emperor's rule. The 57th year of the Showa period (Emperor Hirohito) is our 1982. So, if you wanted to know what year a car on a translated page is, there ya go.

Oh no. Now I'm inspired to actually pay attention in Japanese class today.

Do I have to volunteer the sensei for order translation duty?....
