AC Removal help

Okay guys, one question and its an easy one:

Is the funny smaller radiator looking thing in front of the radiator part of the AC system? And should it be removed?

BTW i have an 84 GSL so its got the behive oil cooler, so i know its not the oil cooler in front there.

I have looked through the manuals, but i cant find out what it is.

no need to remove the radiator. there's a shroud that goes from the top of the radiator towards the front of the car, its held on by a couple 10mm bolts. if you take that off you'll be able to get easy access to the condenser (that's teh funny radiator looking thing in front of the radiator) you'll want to take out the reciever/drier too. that's a canister looking thing mounted right in front of the radiator, at the left side of the condenser. just follow the line from the condenser. with the shroud off, getting the condenser out and the reciever/drier should be a cinch

You might have to cut the hose leading to the compressor though.

The hardest thing about taking that out is the hose that runs under the sir silencer under the airbox. You have to take out the box and silencer to get it all out. The way to take that mini radiator is to pull the front luvers off from underneaith and you have plenty of access to it.
