silver car

this setup is very reliable and is the least inexpensive way to make your Mazda turbocharged with good results.if the car has good traction it should have no problems getting 12 second timeslips! I have alot of local guys with this setup that are pleased with the results

Because you are looking at the wrong sheet.

Did you happen to have a wideband hooked up to it? I'd be interested in seeing the A/F ratios for that thing with no intercooler.

You're looking at the wrong one. Although, I can't see the other one, it's too light.

the air fuel mixture was 11.5 all the way through the pull, look at the smooth hp graph...

we made 3 pulls back to back , the last one made the most power!

intercoolers are not manditory, just an option..the car runs great without it, remember , its a budget turbo kit!
plus since there is no intercooler, or intercooler piping there is NO TURBO LAG AT ALL!! on low boost turbo systems intercoolers are not as important as on a high boost application

Hi Robert. Thanks for posting this and I'm a happy camper! We already phoned to do a few more stuff (non-motor wise) since I have so little time to do anything because of my work. I'm glad that the wheels looks good on that car too. Once I get more internet savvy, I'll try to post more on this board. I'll be down in that area in the next few weeks as I see on my books.

That's pretty good numbers. Stock turbo, 10psi. I take it the engine porting and internals are all stock as well?

You could easily bump that number up with addition of an intercooler. I would only run without an intercooler with less than 8psi of boost. Plus adding one is that much more reliable. I'm sure you already know this (well, i KNOW you know this!) but I see you are talking just a "bolt on budget package" type of thing.

Good work and good numbers, keep it up!

ps - You know what would make that carb setup really sweet? See my username
