just b4 he took it in to go get tested to see it would pass he jammed some steel wool in it and deadened it enough for him to pass..
nothing to do with the rest of the thread but someone had to change it other wise we would be staring all over agian..

lol, I wasn't saying "go get a Supertrapp", I was just using them as an example of how an exhaust system could be tunable by the addition or subtraction of restrictive elements.

Supertrapps aren't really tuneable per se.
They are basically loud glasspacks. You have the option of altering the disc pack to make the car quieter via restriction at the expense of power.
Generally, this means that to make the car decently quiet, you have to make them really restrictive.
A Supertrapp with no end plate is pretty free flowing... pretty loud too!

Thanks for all the responses! Here's what I have on my car... header, going straight into a cherry bomb Turbo II muffler, then 2.5" all the way to a straight through muffler on the back. It's VERY loud.
