I used to own an 85 GS, no PS, no sun roof. I loved it. It was my baby.

I wanted to uprade it, rims, tires, engine stuff, etc.

Talked to Mark @ OBBN. He siad, "well, i dont mean to tell you waht to do, but i would reccomend just buying a GSL-SE. Believe me, you would be happy (i know from experience)"

Well it turned out my friend had just bought one w/ custom rims and new tires already. She doesnt take good care of cars. so i talked her into selling it to me.

The best thing i've done so far. I love this GSL-SE. ALthough i'm not as attached as i was to my GS (which is amazing because i spend every ounce of time i can on my SE), i am blown away by its power. Its simply a different car. There is no comparing the 12a and 13b in the 1st gens.

I'm going to be putting an IC turbo setup from a 2nd gen on my 'se soon.

They dont have that many bolt ons for 1st gens, not that are readily available.

I'd say there are far more upgrade options for the GSL-SE's. Making their potential power much greater.

just my opinion.
