Question road rules

where wouldi find the regulations to find out what is street legal and whats not. Bcause i know a few tricks that im not sure our legal. Just so if i ever get caught i will have a good excuse.

Youre in Wisconsin. Whats legal there probably isnt legal here in California. Go to your DMV to find out what you want to know.

From what I understand the EPA implemented the Clean Air Act that makes it illegal to tamper with any part that affects emissions. It is illegal to install any non-certified part on a street legal car. I think it covers any vehicle, any year. Basically if it had emissions control stuff from the factory, it's gotta be on there to be legal. HOWEVER- Off Road use is a different story. Why as a matter of fact, A LOT of us on the forum have off-road cars..Man they ARE FUN.

Really- It all depends on where you live..Here in West Virginia, no smog checks required, no one will pull you over with minor mods..Now if you lived in Berkley CA, the tree huggers would probobally yank you from your car and beat you to death with their Berkenstocks..(yuck! )

One reason owning a car here in PA is kinda nice: no smog! heehee!
