ring and pinion (miata swap)?

want to know if anyone has done a ring and pinion swap from a miata?
reading on the web I found some info. some of the different years have the same gears. wondering if the lsd is the same

yes some will work with our fbs not sure on the years but i do know that they do work

It's only '94-up miatas, and the miata diffs only work in '84-up rearends.

I've been searching the subject from previous questions posted and have found that the whole chunk should swap.
would like to know if the torsen lsd from the miata can handle hard launches from drag racing.
I don't take my car out that often, My brother called me out last weekend and I didn't even make it down the strip for the first run.
She broke on the first luanch rolling to a loud forty foot stop!!!!
I've already swap my chunk out to the single leg so he's got a better chance of me spinnin down the strip.
