IA Rims. Rims.. Rims...

OK every body I am looking for new rims and tires for my 83 RX7 GSL as far as I know its all stock, so that's what I am working with right now.

I found these on a website but I called and they tell me the offset will not work for my car. I need some help in this department because offset throws me for a loop, So a little help here please...

RUFF RACING R 354 Machine lip 15 inch Rims Black Wheels

The lug pattern seams to be correct, but I want to make sure they will work plus the price is good for tires and rims.

Thank you.

Unfortunately they will not work. Your car should be 4x110 those are 4X100/4x114

I've got a set of 13" 4x110 that I'd be willing to get rid of. I picked them up from a garage in IN during a road trip. Let me know if you're interested. I'll see if I can post pics.

I'm eyeing up some cheap Enkei's I'd like to buy right now. Rims are hard to find for our cars as compared to another car with 4x100 or 4x114.3 bolt patterns. Unless you own a GSL-SE you're gonna have to look on the forum here to get a set of rims probably. Good luck with the hunt!

Why wouldnt/couldnt you just run adapters?? Youd be able to fine tune the fitment to your liking depending on the width you chose. A quick google search will yield many options.

18racing.com has a couple Rota models (replicas of other much more expensive wheels) available that will fit. The RB and Shakotan are available in offsets that will fit. I had a set of RB's and liked the look of them more than the Konig Rewinds. They shipped quickly and weren't expensive.

So for this year I am just going to run the stock rims with new tires and paint the accent color in the depth of the wheel. With new tires and then new exhaust on top of it and the paint job and body work I think I am maxed out on this project for a while.

What tires are you getting? You might want to just wait and see if you can find a set of 15" wheels, you'll be much happier with the tire choices. Or you can wait to see if someone has a set with the tires already mounted. Usually the extra cost in shipping is offset by the fact you don't have to mount or pay for them new.

I would wait but my buddy already ordered those FD1 tires 205/60R13's for my car but I am sure I will free up some more cash soon enough, I always have people stopping by wanting mech work ok something or the other LoL. If I got a good set of wheels and tires I would still want a winter set too.
