FL Rims for my GSL-SE which tires?

What's up everybody, long time....

I want to get new shoes for my gsl-se. I found these on ebay and would like to know if they'd fit without having to make any adjustments. my gsl-se is bone stock.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=360261656302

also, which tires (size) would look good? i don't want anything too bulky, but not to low profile either. and of course that won't rub.

I think these rims would look awesome with the overall look i'm going to try to acheive.

Let me know...

Thanks!

205 45 16 in front 205 50 16 in the back.. might want to use a spacer in the front..

you should be able to run 225s in the back

205 is the width of the tread in millimeters, and 45 is the aspect ratio, which means the sidewall is 45% of the width of the tire. its fairly low profile.

Wink Here she is....

These are old pictures from when i first got her about 5 years ago. i since then took the louvers and the Bra off. The paint is more faded from the Miami sun but the interior is exactly the same. She's hurting for a paint job and new shoes. There's also some rust accumulating at the bottom of the doors, they might need replacement.

As said above 205 is the width in MM. There are roughly 25.4mm per inch. So that would make the tire 8.07" (inches wide). 45 series means that the sidewall is 45% of the width, so one of your sidewalls would be 3.63" (rubber between the rim and road). 8.07x.45=3.63

So the overall rim and tire diameter with this setup would be (Sidewall HT)2 + rim diameter = OD 3.63x2= 7.26"+16"= 23.26"

The 205x50x16 just means that your sidewalls will be slightly taller, as well as your overall diameter. Your ride quality will be improved, but you might have more side wall flex, and taller gearing.

Looks nice, you might get away with a good wetsand and re-clear on the car.

Those BFG g-force are awesome tires. I run federal 204/40vr17's on mine all the way around. Gold looks good with any color car, my buddy has a white skyline and the gold is stunning.
