I got fuel now! But wont turn on

Long story short I picked up an 84 GSL-SE (I have started other threads). It drove for just a little while before it bogged out and would just die. I started off replaceing the plugs and wires, then the fuel filter. After not getting any better I took the tank off and saw tons of rust. I sent it off to be cleaned and resealed, in the mean time I took the fuel pump off and saw tons of rust clogging the little 1 inch filter. I cleaned it out and replaced the pump aswell. After alot of cussing I got the tank back and put back on. I connected everything and I cant get it to start. It just tries to turn over but doesnt start. I thought maybe I crossed the wires on the pump but I think I did them correctyl because I took the fuel line in the engine bay off and pressed the door open where the air filter is at. I got pleanty of fuel to come out, it was a little brown at first (maybe just a little bit of the rusty fuel in the lines) but then cleared out fine. Still cant get it to fire up. Before I pulled the tank off I was able to start he car and keep it idling if I kept some gas on it and drove about 7 miles before I pulled everything off. Anyone have any ideas? Do I need to try some new spark plugs? HELP ME!

remove teh feed line from the metal line in the engine bay. place that line in a suitable dry container and crank the engine. ensure that you are in fact getting fuel. next, check the injection ground wires. there are two and they are both together. the ground to one of the 12mm bolts that secure the rats nest to the engine. if one or both wires are broken or not properly grounded, the injectors will not open and no fuel will get into the engine.

It runs now! All I had to was put a new battery in and it cranked right up. Had a little bit of gas leakin from the fuel pump, so i took it off and tightened everything up and it seems to have no problems now. Tomorrow shhould hook everything up and take it for a long overdo test drive.
