B-E-A-utiful car

I love it because you've got exactly what I'm aiming for. My car is an '84 though, so it's got the '84-style dash (which I prefer, but I'm baised).

Mine needs a new paint job, but is the same colour as yours. I love that colour.

Keep up the good work. I think our cars look best stock (though my car's got two un-stock things in terms of look. I've got the + -shaped rims painted black running whitewall tires, and my antenna is rubber... but it still looks cool)

Now with a new paint job, I hope mine can look like yours. Here's how she stood a little over a year ago. It's shinier now and the tires look brand new, but I haven't had time to take new pics:

Edit: changed the picture, I did have a slightly more recent one afterall. That's my friend Joel standing by the car. He's in India and won't be here for the meet That's okay, my new helper-buddy Sayyad will be Joining me.

Wish I had some better pictures earlier in the process, but this was the first night I got it home and started to assess what needed to be done which included:

New Motor, Gas tank, seats, exhaust (yes i even replaced the cats), radio, brake rotors, most of the rubber suspension parts and various trim pieces.

Of course, I can't forget to give good ole Carl credit for breathing new life into the carburator!

Look forward to seeing everyone in Indianapolis this weekend! ROAD TRIP!

Carl,
Its going pretty good!.. I have a little bit of a hitch in the power curve around 3000 RPM. Since I am still breaking in the new Engine, I'm not really stepping on it hard, but a small, but noticable loss of power around 3k.. any ideas?

Thanks for checking up!

Is it like a flat spot at 3k? Or from 3k on up?

Does it change its temperment if you drive it hard? I'm wondering if the AP adjustment might have changed slightly.

ITs much less noticable when you drive it hard. It very noticable when I am accelerate behind a slow poke in traffic. IF it is the AP is that something that I can adjust (whith your guidance of course)
