I'd rebuild the brake master cylinder, as well as the clutch master and slave cylinders. Completely flush the lines while you're at it to start with clean fluid. Also, it would be a good idea to clean and repack the wheel bearings.

Good luck!

i would definately buy a new water pump, make sure it is either a remanufactured one or a factory one, because the aftermarket waterpumps blades are not curved correctly and they do not work properly at higher RPM's.

The oil cooler shouldn't need replaced. They can be cleaned. Also a good time to check for cracks.

Of course all this is assuming you have the fmoc with the S4 13b.

Depending on where the leak, is they can be repaired. If it is one of the bungs, have them replaced with AN fittings, that will make making new lines easier, with more common parts.

Repacking bearings IS "doing it right". I don't think they are that cheap...not compared to $0.50 worth of grease and a couple hours of work.

don't forget the water heater-hoses along with the rad hoses. Any oil cooler you get should be sonically cleaned before you use it. I think Mazdatrix offers this service for about $45.
get your water rad professionally cleaned and pressure tested. About $60.
