Respeed TII install kit for 1st Gen RX7?

I found a guy selling this Tii respeed swap kit for a 1st gen. I tried looking it up but found really nothing. He states that it is no in production anymore (which it probably isnt). The thing I would like to know about it is. Is the kit all you need?

Still available from RE-Speed.

The kit only supplies what you would need to use TII brake components. You supply all the TII hardware.

Your title makes itsound like a TII motor swap kit.

Yes, Re-Speed still sells the brake swap kits. Read on the website. It will tell you what other parts are required. Depending on what year car you have, you will at least need the FC hubs and appropriate wheels.

What clown is trying to tell you it is not made anymore? A quick search of Re-Speed on this forum will bring up tons of hits.

I have this swap. For the front you need TII hubs, rotors, brake lines, pads and calipers. For the rear you need axles, retainer, rotors, calipers, pads and brake lines. You also need new bearings all around.

These are the things that you need if you have a large axle car. If not, there are other things that you need which Billy at Re-Speed can help you with.

Keep in mind that this will change your wheel bolt pattern to 5X114 so you will need new wheels unless you modify the kit.

If he is selling it off he car you may be able to buy everything off him and just buy new bearings.

I have an extra set of TII front calipers if you need them.

As the 2nd guy stated. Yes, the seller said it was to swap a 2nd gen tii engine into a first gen. Sorry if I didn't make that clear. If you'd like to see the post. Its on craigslist in Greenbay, WI under auto parts. Sorry I can't link. I'm on my phone

I've never known re-speed to make such a kit, but call them directly to ask. Its a pretty straight forward swap and it all depends on what you have vehicle wise, so I don't think someone could make a universal kit, anyways.

Hopefully the seller can list all the parts in it- post it here and we can let you know if its a good deal or not.

I found it:

http://greenbay.craigslist.org/pts/1862645444.html

I asked him for pictures. Until I see what he is selling I smell a scam.

I (ReSpeed) has never manufactured nor sold conversion kits for a TII engine into a first gen.

www.re-speed.com

fcdin, do you have pictures from him?

Still no picture from the CL poster and I pmed the OP to see if he had any.

He may actually have something of ours but has incorrect info, who knows.

If it is a scam the way CL is setup I would never be able to find out who it is.....

What do you mean? Just curious... A public posting on Craigslist should have no bearing on CL...

I used CL as short for craigslist in my post.

The email address listed is a generic craigslist email, so no way to contact them outside of the craigslist add.

Sorry - I had a brain fart - I'm also a member of the 'Club Lexus' forum who frequently abbreviates to CL. Somehow I got CL confuesd with this forum.......I'm gettting old! I guess I check the forums at the same time and get everything confused. Just ignore me.....
