well well.. fresh meat

welcome to the forum... alot to learn though young padawan...

ricing up the 7 would be down right clowny.. but i dont mind a good body kit...

all the other stuff u metnioned like the fireball exhaust and all that other crap.. in dash dvd?

nah .. it wont suit the 7..

try the 90s model car and rice it up..

the 7s main purpose is to go fast...

looks come later..since its already sexy..

IMO the first gen is only a restoration to original kind of project.. the cleaner it is.. the more points you will score

I was lucky enough to have grown up admiring the 7 that my mum drove, which I now call my own... I never got into the civics because .. well... I'm a nerd! Cars never interested me other than the fact that I've wanted to be able to DRIVE practically since I was born.

And now look at me.. :P

Timmy's right about the restoration thing though... But I still think there are quite a few mods that can be made to these cars to help them change their looks without spoiling their original sexyness. Geoff's car is a perfect example. There are probably a million things you can do to your 7 to make it more unique looking, and "update" it, but still keep those sexy lines... Hell probably the only good things that came out of the '80s were me and 1st Gen Rx7s! :P

And tell ya what... if you're lookin' to pimp the car up for the girlies... It's way easier when you have a sleek, clean, simple little Rx7 that can blow the doors off the local Civics than joining the crowd and driving something that looks like it's from a movie. Some days I think it's too bad I got the g/f before the car... but then again... She's such a sweetie.
