Wait... JUST a straight pipe?

No, don't. It will be so incredibly loud you will kill yourself.

Even a fart cannon is quieter. I ended up adding 2 mufflers after I tried a straight pipe. It was downright obnoxious.

Unless you like really loud cars, get one now. I started off with a straight pipe from my headers to a magnaflow on my SA, and it was way too loud. Last summer, I added a bullet style resonator after the header, and it`s still a little loud for my taste. So I just got a bigger res, 4"x9"x12". I haven`t had time to install it yet, but should make a bit of a difference.

no straight pipe trust me, i got a set of RB headers, found out my cat was gutted so i decided to straight pipe it to an ebay fart can being i didn't have enough cash at the time to get anything else, worst decission ever, it's TOOOOOOOO loud, i've actually stopped driving it because the neighbors give me dirty looks when i have to go to work at 7:30 a.m. on saturdays and wake them up, or come home late and wake them up, cops will follow me forever and every civic out there wants to race me now lol, hopefully i'll have that fixed within the next couple of days lol.

Take a vid of it when it's done, I'm interested in hearing it. It might still be pretty loud.
