The jet hot 2000 grey looks like grey primer. It's more function than form. And cost me close to $300 including shipping.

Jet hot 1300 just won't hold up to the heat. It'll burn off in no time.

If you have $300, buy a stainless steel header from ISC Racing. It looks perty but will get heat spots. Flows better than racing beat and is light!

RB has been sending out their headers with a thin chrome coating for aesthetic reasons only. Im surprised that mine has held up for this long. The older ones were bare metal.
Keep a coat of wax over that backside to help exhaust scum from building up, it can then easily wiped off with a wet towel.
Alternatives to Jet-Hot would be : HPC (High Performance Coatings) http://www.hpcoatings.com/ also http://www.amr-coatings.com/ and right in your state and least expensive http://www.performancecoatings.com/
